The Support and Care section is responsible for activities within the municipality aimed at individuals with various forms of physical and mental disabilities. In our section, we provide housing, housing support, daily activities, personal assistance, escort services, etc.

We are looking for support pedagogues who want to make a difference in people's daily lives. The assignment involves working with several service residences and is suitable for those who enjoy varied work where you meet different workgroups and individuals with diverse needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The service residence consists of individual apartments in a residential area where residents have access to a common area and staff around the clock. In this role, you will support adults with disabilities to achieve a functional daily life and an independent life according to their conditions and needs.

As a support pedagogue, you will have a guiding role towards your colleagues. You will work with development issues, areas of responsibility, and monitor what is happening in the field while also being a part of the operations.

As a support pedagogue, you will collaborate closely with the unit manager, colleagues, and other services.

Working hours include days, evenings, on-call, nights, and weekends.

Pool time may occur as part of the position, allowing you to work in other services within Support and Care.

QUALIFICATIONS
We primarily seek someone who is an educated support pedagogue or has another equivalent post-secondary education. Previous experience with addiction, self-harm, and mental health issues is an advantage. You have good digital skills and can express yourself easily in speech and writing.
You are a positive person who is solution-focused, proactive, and engages in development processes. You are creative and can develop and implement pedagogical methods within the workgroup.
